ANZAC Health & Medical Research Foundation

   Donations to this organisation are tax deductible

The ANZAC Health & Medical Research Foundation was incorporated in 1995 with the aim of creating the ANZAC Research Institute. The aim is now about to come to fruition with the Institute to be completed by July 2000, withing the grounds of Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The Foundation now has to play an even greater role to ensure that the Institute has funding to continue the vital research into the problems associated with lifestyle and ageing within the ranks of ex-servicemen and women, their families and the general community, particularly in the field of men's health.

The research foucus of the Institute will be the disorders of lifestyle and ageing, but the areas of particular emphasis include:

Prostate Cancer, Prostate Hyperplasis, Cardiovascular Disease, Testicular Disorders and Cancer, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease and Osteoporosis.
