Little Heroes Foundation
Since 1996 the little Heroes foundation,formerly known as the McGuinness McDermott Foundation has been supporting service and support improvements for children living with cancer and serious illness.
Our vision is for diagnosed children to rediscover and enjoy irrepressible enthusiasm for life.
Our mission is to identify service and capital improvement projects so that every critically ill child is treated with the utmost respect and provided with the best care.
As we approach our 15th anniversary we have contributed over $11million dollars to the Women's and children's hospital and other funding programs to make a genuine and enduring contribution to a more fulfilling life for children living with cancer and serious illness
Current projects include $2million towards a state of the art Haematology & Oncology unit. $1m toward an MRI machine and up to$200,000 per year to survivorship services
