Amputee Association of Sydney Inc.
A self-funded support group for people who have lost or were born without limbs.
We visit or phone counsel new
amputees and publish a quarterly journal with information on prosthetic technology as well as hints on living with limb loss.
We liase with government and aim to educate the general public in areas affecting amputees.
We have established The Artificial Limb Foundation to raise funds to supply the latest style prostheses for supporting parents.
