The Hanson Centre for Cancer Research

The Hanson Centre for Cancer Research is located at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and receives support from both the hospital and the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science.

The Hanson Centre for Cancer Research is recognised as one fo the premier research institutes in Australia. Its team of over 180 individuals creates an interaction of research scientists and clinicians to bring the latest scientific developments into clinical practice.

Scientific discoveries made in the Hanson Centre flow across the boundaries of cancer research into other related areas of medical research, such as arthritis and gastrintestinal disease. In its short life the Hanson Centre has achieved international acclaim as a major contributor to developments in cancer treatment.

The Hanson Centre for Cancer Research could not continue in its vital work without the support of the community.

Donations can be made through the Royal Adelaide Hospital Research Fund.
