Cystic Fibrosis NSW is dedicated to achieving the best possible care and quality of life for people with CF and their carers, now and in the future.
It provides a range of support services, provides information and education and raises funds for research.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life threatening recessive genetic codition affecting Australian children. In the Australian population 1 in 25 people is a genetic carrier for CF and 1 child is born every 4 days with CF. There is no cure for CF and it leads to a greatly shortened life expectancy.
