Communication is vital. Sharing a conversation or discussion with others is what makes life worthwhile. Accessing inforamtion in an understandable format is a right that many of us take for granted.
For over 90 years the Deaf Society of NSW has provded Auslan (Australian Sign Language) interpreters, community support workers and educators to ensure that Deaf people can access services and information the same way as hearing people.
