Australian Action on Pre-eclampsia

Donations to this organisation are tax deductible  This organisation accepts volunteer labour

AAPEC is a non profit volunteer run support group, providing support and education to women and their families after suffering from the pregnancy condition called Pre-eclampsia.

Pre-eclampsia affects 10% of pregnancies and takes the lives of some 200 Australian babies every year. Despite this Pre-eclampsia remains a condition little known in the community.

AAPEC strives to raise awareness of the condition among pregnant women and the community alike, by producing and distributing important medical information on pre-eclampsia detailing the signs and symptoms of the condition and the importance of never missing an antenatal appoinment.

For a small annual membership fee members will recieve a quarterly newsletter as part the support offered.
