The Buttery Incorporated
The Buttery is a therapeutic community offering medium term residential treatment to drug/alcohol dependent people twenty years of age and older. Single adults are assisted with their recovery from addiction in a rural facility located in Northern NSW. The treatment approach is eclectic, with the therapeutic milieu of the community making a strong contribution to the healing process. Qualified staff provide 24 hour cover, providing counselling and facilitating the community process. The residential service asks that residents in treatment contribute 80% of their Centrelink payment to the costs of their stay and treatment.
As well as its residential program The Buttery provides an outreach drug counselling service and an outreach problem gambling counselling service. Both outreach services are free and confidential.
