Wagga Wagga Regional Art Gallery
Wagga Wagga Regional Art Gallery is an innovative public art museum serving the largest inland city in New South Wales.
The art gallery is located in the architect-designed Civic Centre in the heart of the Cultural Precinct. Its facilities include large temporary exhibition spaces, a Community Gallery for work by local artists, an Artist in Residence studio, and a stand-alone gallery to exhibit the National Art Glass Collection.
An annual program of diverse exhibitions is presented from local, national, and international sources. Talks by artists, curators and guest speakers, special events, lectures, performances, and workshops are designed to encourage and inspire a broad audience.
Education services include Actviart for children, the Mural Project for primary and high schools in the region, and guided tours by trained volunteer gallery guides by prior arrangement.
