The Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI)is a multi-campus research institute. It supports research into areas including: asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, immunisation, mental health, premature delivery and developmental disorders in children.
HMRI's mission is to achieve international excellence in medical and health research and to work, through collaboration and integration of research programs with education, training and health care delivery, for regional, national and global health enrichment.
