Kidney Health Australia
The Australian Kidney Foundation's mission is to be recognised as the leading non-profit national organisation providing funding for, and taking initiative in, the prevention of kidney and urinary tract diseases.
The Foundation will achieve this mission by:
Engaging in carefully selected and managed fundraising programs;
Funding medical research and training;
Conducting a broad-based education program for patients, potential organ donors, medical practitioners, the general community and school students;
Pursuing initiatives that will improve patient services, preventative medicine and health promotion;
Informing governments of the needs of patients and commenting authoritatively on relevant public issues.
