Kids Under Cover (KUC) has been raising funds to build houses and bungalows for homeless children for over 17 years.

KUC houses and bungalows are situated all over suburban Melbourne and regional Victoria. There has been in excess of 200 dwellings built, and KUC plans to build a further 30 bungalows by mid 2007.
Kids Under Cover aims to provide a safe and secure environment for children who are the victims of physical and sexual abuse and therefore unable to live at home.

These children are supervised and supported by carer families and case managed by member welfare agencies.

KUC operates with a wide range of assistance ranging from philanthropic trusts and foundations, companies, private donors and our own fundraising.

One of our more successful fundraisers includes our Annual Charity "Umbrella Ball". Our ball this year is to be held on July 22nd � for tickets and information visit out web site at http://www.kuc.org.au. We also have many successful partnerships with service clubs such as Rotary and Lions Clubs.

The cost of housing is kept to a minimum with the assistance of low cost materials and donated goods and services.

Kids Under Cover operates with one full-time Chief Executive Officer and 6 staff.

In summary, Kids Under Cover breaks the downward spiral for children who are forced from their homes by abuse or intolerable living conditions, and who could end up as "street kids"...on the streets they don't live, they die!
