World Wide Fund For Nature Australia (WWF)
Imagine a world without Australia's Great Barrier Reef, the Sumatran Tiger and the forests of Melanesia. Pretty grim isn't it?
Unsustainable fishing practices, global warming, urban development and pollution could see our coral reefs dead within 20 years.
At present rates of extinction, as much as a third of the world's species could be gone in the next 20 years.
Almost half of the earth's original forests have been destroyed. And it's increasing.
WWF Australia is working to preserve our precious species, spaces and resources throughout Australia and the Oceania region, by taking action, raising awareness and building capacities.
