Arthritis is the term applied to a large number of identifiably different musculoskeletal conditions and it is important for those affected by each, no matter at what degree of severity, to understand what is happening to them and what might be done to live as normal a life as possible.
The Arthritis Foundation of Australia supports medical research which maintains a highly sophisticated assessment procedure supported by a wide base of honorary contributions by committee members and assessors.
The program embodies fellowships, scholarships and grants and is a source of funding for young researchers taking new paths of developing their research careers.
