Danish Church in Australia Incoporated

 This organisation accepts volunteer labour

The Danish Church in Australia is an etnic church, which caters for Danish immigrants, Danish ex-pats. and relatives and other people related to Denmark. We assist people, resently arrived in the country, and help them gaining a network of caring people, who has been through the same problems.

We have a social welfare fund, which is used to care for people in need, and we conduct danish classes for adults as well as children as another community service. We do of course have services in Danish, and a danish mother-child group. Bible study groups, family-excursions, choir-training etc. We have a youth-assisistant, whoms especially looks after young traveling danes, au-pair-girls, etc.

We are privately funded, and we serve danes all over Australia, via our traveling minister, who frequently visits, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and more rarely Perth, Adelaide and other cities.
