Our Mission is 'To provide hope to those affected by neuromuscular disorders through medical research and community awareness'.
MDA is the principle sponsor of the Australian Neuromuscular Research Institute, which is located at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. In addition to funding the worldclass research conducted at the ANRI, MDA provides emergency welfare support to patients and families in need, information to interested persons and organisations and acts as a referral centre.
