Strathdon Community
Strathdon Community at Forest Hill was established in 1968 and transferred into the care of the Uniting Church in 1978. Today, it is recognised as one of the most progressive and innovative aged care and disability service facilities in Victoria.
Its services touch the lives of thousands of Victorians in the regions of Whitehorse, Manningham, Monash, Knox, Yarra Ranges, Boroondara and Maroondah.
Of the Certified Aged Care Facilities in Victoria, Strathdon Community offers 237 residential places, positioning it as one of the state�s most vital aged care providers.
The Day Therapy Centre provides fast stream rehabilitation, long term maintenance programs, special focus groups and health promotion activities that enhance and ensure independent living for older people in the community.
