The Spastic Centres of SA is one of the oldest charities in South Australia; today we help over one thousand children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities.
Every day a child in Australia is born with cerebral palsy, it is one of the most common forms of birth deformity and yet the cause is still not known. Advances in medical care mean that those with palsy live longer and despite their severe handicaps many achieve exceptional results in community arts, business and sport. Many are able to tell extraordinary stories others are yet to realise their potential.
Help us ensure that people with severe and multiple disabilities are recognised, respected and are able to lead fulfilling lives. Help them achieve their potential.
