The Deaf-Blind Association
The Deaf-Blind Association is the leading organisation in Victoria providing services to people with multi-sensory disabilities ~ people with a combined vision and hearing impairment. The Association also provide services for people with multiple disabilities.
The Deaf-Blind Association�s mission is to ensure a lifestyle of independence, dignity and empowerment for its deafblind clients and their support persons, by providing and promoting high quality enhancement programs.
Services now provided include staffed Accommodation, Day Services, Computer Skills Training, Community Services, Respite Care, Counselling, COMMA Music Therapy, Communication Skills Development, and Recreational Activities.
Whilst The Deaf-Blind Association receives support from government, we do rely on the generosity from the public, corporations and philanthropic trusts to ensure we can continue to provide services to people with deafblindness.
