Florey Medical Research Foundation
The Florey Medical Research Foundation was established to raise funds for approved medical research projects within the Adelaide Medical School and its teaching hospitals.
Research can cover any illness, disease or medical condition.
The Fund is named after 1945 Nobel Prize in Medicine winner Howard Florey, the School's most famous graduate. Florey's work developed penicillin to clinical use and began the age of antibiotics that nowadays save millions of lives throughout the world.
The Florey Medical Research Foundation is committed to ethical and responsible fundraising.
