Victorian AIDS Council Inc
The Victorian AIDS Council (VAC)serves the community of the state of Victoria, Australia. Our primary focus is the health and wellbeing of HIV positive individuals and communities, the HIV vulnerable or at risk communities and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) communities. The VAC provides support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and services which aim to improve health and wellbeing, including medical services, counselling services, support groups and peer education groups.
THE LONGER A PERSON HAS BEEN HIV POSITIVE THE MORE LIKELY THEY ARE TO BE LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LINE.
A regular donation from generous people like YOU can make a real difference to person who is living with HIV/AIDS. It will ensure that they have the following things that HIV negative people often take for granted.
* Heat, lighting, hot water
* Telephone line - commonly their link with the outside world
* Food and clothing
* Secure housing
Your commitment NOW will help someone maintain their quality of life.
All monies raised @ the VAC through any David Williams Fund/Red Ribbon Project fundraising activities go towards assisting Victorians living with HIV/AIDS.
