Here for Life is a not-for-profit public benevolent organisation focussing on education, awareness and research aimed at the prevention of youth suicide.

The organisation provides resources, education asnd school based life skills programs to help prevent suicide amongst young people.

Why?...Because 10 young Australians will kill themselves this week and over 1,000 will attempt.

Here for Life will strengthen and consolidate it's position as Australia's peak youth organisation working to empower young people. We will meet our statement of purpose and vision through equipping ourselves internally to ensure the delivery of our programs and implementing the following objectives:

* Delivering high quality programs that promote positive life skills

* Remaining unique, relevant, credible and effective in our communicationn with young people

* Provision of resources that equip the community to understand and respond to the ideas and needs of young people

* Expanding and strengthening relationships with corporate, government and individual donors

* Remaining internally committed to continued improvements and innovation in serving youth and the community

The outcome of achieving this vision is the prevention of youth suicide
