Hug-Ur-Kids organization which is an Australasian organization that deals with the ever increasing problem of "Parental Child Abduction".

Hug-Ur-Kids Organization or HUKO as we are more commonly known by these days, plays a very important role in our Australia wide community, providing many supportive services, along with helping many Custodial Parents to be re-united with their 'abducted children'.

Many people are unaware that HUKO is uniquely an Australian organisation that is a 1 of a kind group that deals with the horrific act of 'child abduction'.

Currently there are over 400+ children abducted locally within Australia each year, and those numbers are growing, Internationally we are talking 250+ children are 'abducted' from Australia.

Now the disturbing fact in all these abductions is the recovery rates for these innocent children who have been abducted, all told we are talking about a rate of only 38% in recoveries, and that number is appalling, that is why HUKO needs your support.

HUKO is able to offer tax deductions to all donations over $2 for Australian residents, not only that being we do have wide spread media attention on many of our cases, it certainly is an outlet for corporations to get involved in showing their community spirit in helping out HUKO, there is also the promotion of their respective businesses.

It doesn't take much to get involved and make a huge difference in our Australia wide communities.

HUKO currently provides support to over 200 families nation wide, along with support to many children past and presently dealing with the ramifications of child abduction.

Some may say that it is okay due to the fact that a parent or relative has abducted their children, but the fact of the matter is 'Child Abduction' is 'CHILD ABUSE', we live in a society that frowns upon child abuse and is totally unacceptable, so why are so many innocent kids being subjected to this each and every day.

Before HUKO came along and provided the many services we currently operate, Australia had nothing at all in supportive or recovery outlets for the many parents who deal with child abduction on a yearly basis, thanks to the never ending hard work from the team of volunteers at HUKO, there are massive inroads being made in Australia, but we still lack the involvement from our community, so please open your heart and give generously to HUKO, because at the end of the day it is the 'left behind parents' and the 'recovered children' you are helping most.

To give you an idea of how much money is spent in administrative costs, for every dollar that goes to HUKO, only 5 cents is spent in administrative expenses, that figure is not exagerated, but true fact.

We cannot stress enough the importance of the public and business sector to show your support to this wonderful organization. So please HUKO is pleading with you, open your hearts so as your donation/contribution will help out those in our community, you may not know the parent's and children you will be helping, but know this....they certainly do appreciate your kindness and giving spirit.

HUKO has acquired the DGR status (Deductible Gift Recipient) so now all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

HUKO is a Nationally Registered Non Profit Organisation that was primarily set up as a Support Group but quickly grew into now a Support/Action/Recovery group dealing with child abduction.


Unfortunately for all the good work we do, and to so many families we contribute too, we still have a severe lack of sponsorship/support from Corporate Australia let alone the ongoing contributions to memberships we desperately need from Private Individuals.
