The Child Abuse Prevention Service aims to alleviate child abuse in all it's forms and prevent serious physical and psychological harm to children through the support of those who are abusing, or feel at risk of abusing.We are a primary prevention service and we prevent child abuse by providing 24hr. support via our national, crisis, freecall telephone service; our five, NSW situated, drop-in Centres; follow up counselling after a crisis call and referral as necessary; face to face counselling and groups; volunteer counsellor training and community education.
