Saint Ignatius' College Foundation
Saint Ignatius’ College is a co-educational R-12 school, administered by the Jesuits. It commenced at Norwood in 1951, catering to some 55 boys. In 1967, with a roll call of 482 boys, Saint Ignatius’ College opened its Senior School at Athelstone. The College celebrated its Jubilee in 2001 and today has more than 1350 boys and girls enrolled.The Saint Ignatius’ College Foundation was established in 1989 to promote the welfare of the College with regard to its physical resources and to maintain a number of bursaries to ensure wide access to the school.
The principal objectives of the Foundation are:
• To provide funds to further the building and re-development programme.
• To provide funds for the continuing development of Saint Ignatius’ College.
