ACREM
ACREM is a group of trained volunteers that provide a monitoring service on the CB bands, relaying calls for assistance from the community to the required services. Many people helped each year do not even own a CB but have merely utilised a passing truck or car with CB, making our services accesible by everyone. Our service operates independant of electricity and telephone services, and can be especially useful in areas where mobile phones fail. We receive no sponsorship or funding and rely solely on members and donations. Donations/gifts over $2 are tax deductible and can even be made by PayPal to [email protected]. ACREM currently operates in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
