HeartKids QLD is a non profit support group for families that have a child/ren with congenital heart defects(heart conditions).
11 Children a day are born in Australia with Heart Defects, which means on average every 2 and half hours a family gets the devestating news that their beautiful child has a heart condition that in many cases is life threatening.
Heartkids QLD offers practical support via phone, in person, we provide basic meals for families in hospital, online support, and via special days when our families can come together and feel so alone, we also try to raise awareness and funds for research.
We urgently need funds to provide this ongoing support to our families and you can help.
Every cent helps us, help our families.
We currently receive no support from the goverment to help out families and we do not have a going corporate sponsor.
