CO-ID
CO-ID builds and runs schools in one of the poorest areas of Bangladesh, Bhola Island. Featured in the Australian Story on ABC, CO-ID is still run by Fred Hyde who at the age of 85 spends 8 months a year supervising the team in Bangladesh.
A school can be built for $6,500 and run for a further $6,500 per year, including all costs teachers salaries, building maintenance, the lot. This means that your donation to CO-ID goes a long way.
Many of the children who attend CO-ID schools are the first ever in their families to have an education.
