We achieve this by providing programs that support young people in discovering and creating their dreams for their communities and their lives.

Festival of Dreams Inc. offers positive and proactive programs that inspire young people. Our product is empowering the self esteem, confidence, connection and networks young people need to give voice to their dreams and have the courage to create those dreams in the real world. Young people creating a positive future.

The Festival of Dreams is a comprehensive developmental process that begins with a 3 day state wide forum for young people aged 13-25yrs. Young people identify their dreams for their communities and their own lives and are supported to implement their ideas in the real world.

Festival of Dreams Programs offer:

� An open space to explore and generate ideas.

� State wide reach: young people meet and contribute a diversity of ideas from many life experiences.

� Peer support: Young people learn from each other by helping each other explore dreams and create project plans.

� Mentors: community members offer their experience in project development and support young people through the roller coaster of achieving their dreams.

� Networks: young people learn to engage with stake holders in their communities and work with local government.

� Friendships: Lasting connections made across the State breaking through isolation and dislocation experienced by many young people.

� Leadership opportunities within Festival of Dreams: young people can join the project teams, become mentors and facilitate our programs.

Experience has shown we are successful in attracting young people from diverse backgrounds.

Many of the young people have succeeded in creating projects and furthering their dreams, some of whom were once considered disadvantaged or at risk in their communities before attending the Festival of Dreams. Now many are seen as young leaders in their communities.
