Art for a Cause - Gallery 15 @ 15W
Art for a Cause is a program set up in 2005 to support charity-run projects and campaigns. It achieves this by providing premium public art space in Melbourne City (soon to include Sydney and Adelaide) where charities and individual artists/activists can exhibit collections that educate people about what they do. The artwork displayed ranges from professional artists through to students to people from war torn regions, to writers, painters, travellers, hospital patients � there are no boundaries.
In its opening year, Art for a Cause has supported organisations such as Amnesty International, Plan, Oxfam, Y.E.A.H (Youth Empowerment Against HIV/Aids), and The Cancer Council Victoria.
