Our Mission: Child Wise aims to prevent the sexual exploitation and abuse of children in Australia and overseas by;

� Providing help, support, advice and resources to individuals and communities,

� Raising awareness about child abuse,
� Professional and community training in child protection,

� Working with communities and governments to identify strategies to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation.


Our programs seek to prevent child abuse by providing greater awareness and understanding; as well as providing the tools and strategies for individuals, organisations and communities to protect children.


Child Wise has adopted a multi-faceted approach to address the abuse and exploitation of children. We combine direct support, counselling, education, advocacy, program implementation, participatory training, capacity building and research to provide a comprehensive, strong and specialised service that provides dynamic responses to protect children everywhere.


All Child Wise�s programs work comprehensively across a continuum of prevention, protection and recovery. They are child-focused, and informed by a fundamental belief that children have a right to physical and psychological safety, and that we as individuals, communities and governments have the capacity to protect children.
